All stars lose mass. Low mass stars such as the Sun lose mass through gas pressure, but massive stars do so via radiation pressure. In addition, some of these stars possess strong enough magnetic fields that can significantly influence the dynamics of these outflows or winds. This series of lectures will discuss the main mechanisms governing such winds and how to model them.
