Mosquitoes are an important group of arbovirus vectors. How these viruses interact with vectors, and vector cells remains critical to understand transmission to humans and animals. I will discuss progress in understanding the exogenous siRNA pathway, a critical antiviral response, and how it acts in controlling viral replication.
